I want you to think for a second about what happens when the fairy atmosphere of Dubai meets the strength and the class of one of the world’s leading fashion countries in a unique event hosting international personalities, who share the same passion.
29-30 October 2015, Dubai hosted the third edition of Vogue Fashion Dubai experience, introducing for the first time “Who is on Next” Dubai, a talent scouting initiative and contest mainly focused on emerging designers from the Middle East, Asia and Africa, which is the newest addition to the Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience. Launched by Vogue Italia and Emaar Properties, in collaboration with Altaroma and with the support of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, Pitti Immagine and yoox.com, online retail & media partner, the project covers three categories: womenswear, menswear and accessories.
The 25 finalist had the opportunity to showcase their collections to a worldwide audience at the largest fashion event of its kind in the Middle East.
Selected by a panel of globally-renowned fashion experts, the winners will have amazing opportunities to showcase their collections during a number of high profile events in 2016. In addition, the collections of the winners will be available at a special temporary store within The Dubai Mall and globally on yoox.com, the world’s leading online lifestyle store for fashion, design and art.
We started our adventure with an inspiring press conference led by the editor in chief of Vogue Franca Sozzani. With her incredible charm and know how, Franca gave a fascinating speech, hypnotizing all the guests with her passion for the fashion industry and reminding us to stay autenthic and always act from our hearts.
DAY 1 was a full immersion in the wonderful world of WION. Here some glimpse of the fashion shows.
DAY 2 got us charmed by the fashion talks of Christian Louboutin, Miroslava Duma & Silvia Venturi Fendi.
The Charity Gala stole everyone’s heart. The most magical location for a white party, hosting incredible personalities all reunited for a good cause, supporting The World Food Program.
