New York Fashion Week is always a huge source of inspiration for fashion lovers. But you guys ahould know me by now: I never feature every trend, because there are some trends I simply don’t like – in particular what in my opinion looks sad and unhealthy. So let’s concentrate on glamour! What were the best, most feminine, and most popular trends as well, in New York? Here a gallery for you to dream and maybe take note. The Cut Out Dress

More and more, a dress is made of pieces and…missing pieces, or sexy cutouts that show a bit of skin. Do it on your shoulders if you want to be safe, on legs or back if you dare more.

Fur Trims

I cannot stress enough how often fur, real or fake, for a full coat or for trimmings, has been seen on the NY catwalks and on street stylers alike. A huge comeback.

Even minimalistic Calvin Klein used fur generously. Photo:

Shiny Gold

Seen by Tommy Hifiger, Marchesa, Ralph Lauren, and many more – always a winner at the end of the show.

Floor Length

Not just for the end of a catwalk, but also loved for a party or an evening out – too much doesn’t exist!

Black and White

the combination of black and white has been proposed by almost all designers. A delightful trend, because you can also make it yourself, with basic pieces you already own.

Still going strong, a very feminine style that graces the New York catwalk regularly.
