In my free time I only wear flat shoes and comfy clothes, and as I travel like crazy sneakers are always a fundamental part of my uniform.

And with all the shoes I have, I believe that you could call me shoe-collector?

A couple of seasons ago I came across this French sneaker brand called Philippe Model , and contacted them to get a pair to wear during fashion weeks..and literally fell in love their astute experimentation with raw material and urban aesthetics.

Night Bombay is the name of the furry Philippe Model sneaker that you see in the pictures, but they have a few more metallic models that I am crazy about.

The Philippe Model sneakers are tactile, lustrous and extremely comfortable – sometimes counterpointed by striking details such as the iconic Philippe Model shield micro-perforated on the upper base of the tongue, while the tone-on-tone laces in the platinum version have a worn and vintage look, in sharp contrast with the gleaming metallic effects. In this way, the gentility of handmade footwear can measure up to the unrestrainable forces of the contemporary in a quest for balance between authentic and stratified content, poor art and artificial idioms. Amazing huh? See for yourself..
