Would you like to join Xenia from London to Paris, Lyon, Milan and Cannes, in a Valentino-red Lamborghini – raise money and awareness for 3 incredible charities in Africa – and document it all on your a new Galaxy S6 – for the trip of a lifetime?
Thanks to Samsung Mobile – Xenia went and is still on her trip to make a difference while raising funds for three important charities in Africa.
This is Cash & Rocket, the fashionable – and fun and meaningful – trip she just joined together with 70 ladies (hand-picked each year from the world of fashion, music, art and business) in 35 teams of women drivers (of beautiful red cars). That’s right – no men allowed. Julie Brangstrup – a talented, intelligent and strong mother of six created a concept that unites powerful ladies for a higher cause. Every single car is driven by two incredibly enthusiastic ladies who decided to revolutionise the idea of fund-raising by bringing glamour, influence, beauty and online visibility to three charities that have been helping children in their families and environment for years: OAfrica, Shine On Sierra Leone, and Sumbandila.
Xenia and Natasha Slater are team 20 – go on the website to make your donation.
If you are curious to know who these girls are, here are the teams:
You can just spread the word, or donate any amount you wish; any amount helps. You don’t need to worry about giving too little because everything really does add up. Alternatively, be our marketing strategist and help us finding new ways of sharing this article. Crowd-funding, scaling: words that mean a lot if you help us too.
There’s still time left until today at 11 pm.
Cash & Rocket was founded in 2011 by Julie Brangstrup, entrepreneur and mother of six, with a vision to create a platform for luxury global brands to promote their products in an innovative way and support some amazing charities. It’s eye-candy, adventure, friendship, solidarity, unification, love, fun. It’s a race and yet it’s not about speed: it’s a race to raise money. In Julie’s words:
We are not simply anonymous donators who have found a convenient mean of self-gratification. We are about women empowering other women, mothers supporting other mothers…I believe that adventure is a hugely underestimated catalyst, when people are passionate they become productive; when people are inspired they become innovative.
In Xenia’s words:
I couldn’t think of a better way of raising money for charity than to unite a group of strong and driven boss-ladies on wheels. Girl power for incredible causes, such as children’s education and female equality – subjects that extremely important to me. I’m honoured to be able to help.
