It’s tough to define love and the reasons for it. I couldn’t list all of the details and sensations that a walk in a barrio or on the Dominican Republic’s beaches give me but I can try to list a few random ones to leave you with a taste or an impression of what it might feel like.

Think of organic cocoa, caribbean clear waters, waterfalls, incredible nature and green flora, bachata, raggaeton and dembow loud music in every corner, little colmado shops selling platanos and mamajuana, smiling people, dancing in a gas station (and virtually everyone can move well to rhythm), three people on a motorcycle-taxi, a clear sky full of stars, tropical storm for 10 minutes and perfect sunshine straight afterwards..

It’s so rich in sensations and realness of everyday life that I have almost forgotten to take real street pictures for you – I’ve completely gotten lost in the experience.

Very special thanks for the incredible nights of rest and relaxation at one of the most beautiful boutique hotels I’ve ever visited Eden Roc Cap Cana.
